The Louisiana Robotics Challenge Series (LRCS) is a competitive STEM league that gives students the spotlight they deserve. By blending robotics, engineering design, and problem-solving into high-energy challenges, LRCS celebrates academic talent, teamwork, and innovation—making STEM achievement visible, valued, and exciting across Louisiana.
This optional design portion involves students creating specialized "Infrastructure Pieces" using CAD software to solve specific mechanical problems related to the competition robots.
The Goal: Design a "Universal Robot Support System"
Students select one of three client scenarios and design a solution with three components:
Engineering Sketch / Blueprint (Meet 1): A technical drawing/design plan.
Robotic CAD Model / Prototype (Meet 2): A digital prototype and small-scale replica.
Website Design / Presentation (Meet 3): A website to present the work and capabilities of the school.
